Hey Reader,

First of all, Happy Pride to those of you in my audience who identify as LGBTQIA+! Hope you had a lovely weekend and got to go to one of the many amazing festivals!

Second… I’m pretty excited for my latest release. Something about writing a bit shorter has really freed up my creativity, and I’ve been getting a lot more writing done, and been a lot less chaotic about what I’m working on. So yay!

Also though, somehow this book ended up a bit longer anyway, and a bit more slow burn. It’s still fully smutty, but one of my arc readers called it “one of the most endearing books I ever read.” But like.. filthy, right? Idk how I ended up here, but I think I agree. 🤔 Scroll down to read the full review, which made me giggle, and also made me feel seen as an author. Because what’s a smutty love story if it’s not sweet and adorable, too?

Anyway, let me know what you thought of the slower burn? In this case, I felt like things needed to move a little more slowly for… reasons. In the next book, should I speed things back up? For those of you who’ve been reading the full series, the next book is already in progress, and I am having so much fun with it, I accidentally forgot to edit a book I was supposed to be working on for my M/M pen name… it follows Gemma Bancroft, who appears in this book, in the aftermath of her cancelled wedding. And one of the MMC’s is an accountant.

I know, sexy, right?
