🍆 Book boyfriends are better, especially when they’re 99 cents!

Hey Reader,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has been supportive over the past year or so — my personal life has been a challenge, but I always have the stories to come back to. Writing has been my escape, and hearing from readers has lifted my spirits more than you can know, especially when my mom became unexpectedly ill and passed away last May.

This week, though, was a tough one as a romance writer — I separated from my partner, a man who I might have once thought was the love of my life, who in some ways has inspired the men I write. This has been a slow build, and not unexpected, but at the same time, a total shock. I’ve had to move my two daughters into my dad’s house, to begin to mourn the future we had planned together, and to figure out what’s next as a single mom.

And all the while, I’ve kind of been waiting for that grand romantic gesture we always write about, you know? But it hasn’t come, because he’s in the middle of an insane, narcissistic mid-life crisis. I don’t know if or when he’ll come out the other side, and I don’t know what’ll happen then, but I wonder if I can find comfort again in my writing.

Maybe it’s time for the most over the top cinnamon roll characters who dote on their women and would never in a million years suggest, unironically, that buying a Corvette might make them happier than their children.

Sometimes book boyfriends are better…

And on that note, the real reason I’m sending this email: My friend is running a massive 99 cent book promo full of all the smuttiest of smut, and I have several books in it! They’re on 99 cent Kindle Countdown Deals, so be sure to snag them before the deals end!

Happy reading, and thanks for keeping me sane through all of life’s crap!

Kristin

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I didn't have a favorite contemporary author, until I read this. I've only read 2 of Kristin's books (this and Praise and Paperbacks) and I am now swiftly working my way through her back catalogue.

It has everything I could want. Oops all switches! Bisexual men exploring their sexuality in a loving and safe space. Organic formulation of a deeply loving polycule.”

Hey Reader, I’m excited to release The Third Wheel today, which for me, is the first book I’ve released to KU in a while that’s back to my usual MMF hijinks. And there are PLENTY of hijinks. I’m already at work on the next book in this series, but as of yet, it is untitled, because I haven’t come up with a good one. Third time’s the charm? I don’t know, there must be other sayings about the number three but none of them are coming to me at the moment. And not to worry, that book will feature...
