Hey Reader,In my author group, we were discussing underrated Brendan Fraser movies, and the generalized himbo cinnamon roll goodness of his character in George of the Jungle, and I had a lightbulb moment: Blast From the Past. Okay, so maybe my hero won’t be from a bomb shelter, and maybe there will be two more heroes who also might make out with him. I definitely need some Brendan Fraser-inspired cuteness to win over my snarky, jaded heroine… so that the other two guys can triple team her with him. Right, so maybe that’s a little more X-rated than Blast From the Past, but what if her gay best friend wasn’t Dave Foley and instead was two guys who also want to bang her? And it was Christmas, because who doesn’t love a heaping dose of spice in their Christmas stories? Yeah, I have no idea where I was going with this. Christmas book coming soon! That was probably it. That’s why it’s in bold. Anyway, in other news, October 22 has finally rolled around and that means it’s time for the quarterly Romance Book Blast, and it’s time for me to make poor decisions about which book to put in. This time, it’s my latest release, Summoned on Halloween! I mean, it’s nearly Halloween. In fact, it’s so close to Halloween we might as well call it already Halloween. So how could I not? Happy Holidays Everyone! It’s been a hectic few days finishing up edits on How to Catch a Book Babe, which turned out really cute… and spicy. One of the guys suddenly went a little feral while writing, and it wasn’t the one I expected. The story features an autistic FMC as well, and this is something I worked really hard to get right — as a neurodivergent ADHD girlie myself, I want more neurodiverse rep in romance!
